Yesterday after church my DH and I went out to breakfast (our tradition) I ordered while he went and got the paper. One order of 2 eggs scramb well, 2 saus patties, cottage cheese inst of hash browns and rye toast. One order of chicken fried steak, 2 eggs over easy, home fries and Bisq and gravy. When the waitress brought it to us she kept trying to give me the eggs and cottage cheese. When I told her the chick fried steak was mine, she said, You go girl! I thought you ordered the girlie brkfst not the He man breakfast. Way to go. I thought it funny, my DH was not amused. Then these friends of ours came in and walked right by us, when they were leaving I said hi Rich, He said well hi, and shook Mikes hand, he turned to his wife and said you know who this is dont you? She looked right at me and said no. lol And when he told her she was so excited she came and sat down next to me and said how wonderful I looked and was telling me about her friend who had the RnY and wondered what I ate (my plate was pretty clean), When I told her she just couldnt believe it. Her friend had fish and chips with her the nite before and took all the good breading off the fish, mushed it up with her fork and could only eat one piece. And that was it!And she has lost less than me and walks 3 miles a day. I am so thankful for the DS. Just had to share. Sharon in Onyx and they wonder why we had the DS...silly RnY'ers! Sharon, thanks for sharing. That is a cute story. I ate my head off this weekend and have learned to trust my appetite not to betray me. I lost the water weight I had put on.
