Weight loss observation

Do you realize that if the 25 of us who have posted today, put our combined

loss weight on the typical bridge, the bridge could collapse!!!

Almost all local bridges have a 2 ton limit!!!!!

As my grandfather used to say, " put that in your pipe and smoke it. " (I

think he meant, " think about that " since he usually said it after our butts

had a discussion with the razor strap.

That's kind of stretching it. The 2 ton limit is not 2 tons allowed on the

bridge at one time but based on the amount of axles... its a pounds per

square inch issue. Since the weight of the 25 people would be distributed

over presumably 50 feet (assuming everyone stands on 2 feet), any bridge

designed for vehicle traffic should handle this. If all the weight were

placed in a VW Bug, and the axles DIDN'T break, it might damage the bridge.

You mis-read my post.. I said that if we put our combined LOSS weight on the

bridge, now out weight as we carry it on the body. If we piled all that lost

fat up on the bridge was my point.
