BRUCE VILANCH coming to Tucson May 12th in support of POZ WARRIORS

Multiple Emmy Award-winning Comedy Writer, Actor and LGBT Icon and Hero, BRUCE

VILANCH, will be flying in from Hollywood to celebrate the SILVER EDITION of

SAAF's wildly popular annual fundraiser, Jell-O Wrestling. Vilanch, also known

to occupy the Center Square on the New Hollywood Squares from time to time, will

give a special 3:00pm Pre-Wrestling Show to jiggle your funny bones. He's the

celebrity go-to gag man behind such stars as Robin , Whoopi Goldberg,

Chrystal and, of course, the Divine Ms. M. herself, Bette Midler. Mr.

Vilanch created the hilarious " Sophie Tucker " jokes that Midler has made famous-

( " And I'll never forget it, ya know? My boyfriend Ernie sent me a dozen red

roses the other day and my girlfriend, Clementine was there when they came. So

I said to her, 'Ya know what this means? I'll be flat on my back for the next

week.' To which Clem replied, 'What's the matter? Ain't ya got a vase?' " )

Ba-dump-bump.

This special performance is included in the ticket price and Bruce is donating

his time and talents as a tribute to and all the local Poz Warriors.
