Guest guest
New thing for us. Macey's recently botched pedicure which gave her a toe infection still had not healed. Even after 10 days of septra. So today she saw podiatrist who took an xray and thankfully pronounced the infection was not in the bone but there was an ingrown toenail. Next thing I knew I was signing papers for a local procedure. Took probably a third of the nail and had to go probably 1/4 " down the side for debridement. Nasty yellow stuff drained out that he's sure is Staph. With her recent MRSA wound infections he put her on Zyvox 600 mg for a month. Local is still keeping it numb thank goodness. Guest guest
Wow. I can't believe this is still going on Ursula! I'll say a prayer for Macey that this gets better asap. Is she in school right now, or home hospital? Send her good wishes from me! Dayna On Feb 23, 2010, at 11:10 PM, Ursula Holleman wrote: > New thing for us.
