thanks for your support, everyone. i guess i'm grateful that i can use this

space to share WHATEVER i'm feeling ( " positive " or " negative " ). I hope

others feel as comfortable because that's what we are here for.

1. babysat (my job right now) allll day.. and the precious baby slept for

most of it! :)

2. practiced a half hour of yoga at home

3. again, binge-free for me today!

1. went out with the parents and brother for mom and dad's 32nd anniversary

dinner last night. I drank WINE (which is rare...) and really enjoyed

myself.. tasting everything and not overeating (i underate probably..)

2. went to bed before midnight! :)

Tania isn't it exciting when you find a food that you can enjoy and it's healthy

too?

What are you putting in your green smoothie?

 

If you are really interested in green smoothies you should check out the book

" Green for Life " . It is a fantastic book based on green smoothies and the many

benefits they provide.

 

I have had green juices almost every day this week and I swear that they make a

difference in how I feel and look.

They really do make your body feel clean and not weighed down!

I put kale, spinach, strawberries, banana, kiwi, milk and honey in mine usually.

I have seen that ppl make them water, but I looove milk. What do you put in

yours?

Hi Tania

I usually put spinach and one or two fruits and squeeze an orange in to make it

smoother. I don't put milk since i usually have the smoothie to get away from

dairy, etc. Mostly though I make green juices. I use beets, beet leaves or

spinach, parsley, carrots, cucumber and an apple and put the whole thing through

the juicer. Tastes good and I feel like super woman after I drink it.

Maybe we need to check into the juicer. The kids like them a little sweeter

(duh):), so I probably have more fruit than I should in it. However, this is

the first time in my life that I am taking in fruits and enjoying them! I do

not like to eat them and veggies are usually limited to what is cooked in main

courses. We don't prepare them as side items much. We usually have salads

every other day with lots of beans, legumes and lentils incorporated. Thanks

Corinna a green smoothie is a smoothie made with some fruit and some green

vegetables; something like spinach or kale or beet greens. You might throw a

mango and some orange juice and two cups of raw spinach, for example in the

blender and make a very healthy drink. They are very tasty and a great way to

get in your greens and a few fruits in the morning.
