Guest guest
I am in the process of separating some rather large SCOBYs from my continuous brew bowl. Long over-due, but if you could see these things and the size of the " tureen, " I think anyone would feel this way and put off the inevitable. I need to make a gallon but I believe I want to go at it half at a time. I was given a recipe for a 8 cup recipe which is what I'm needing but it does not sound right. I will give it out, because it's brief, and if anyone knows different hopefully they might correct me if I am wrong. 8 Cups Distilled Water 6 Tea Bags and 1/2 Cup sugar and 1/2- 1 Cup Fresh Starter From Another Batch. The tea and sugar amounts seem iffy, like waay too much, too strong. Am I wrong? Please if you anyone could help me out with this I would be so happy and the SCOBYs would finally be able to breathe again, and enjoy their Earl Grey. Much, much indebted to all.
