Apple cider during bottling ...(2nd ferment)

Hi all,

I add 1-2 oz (per 16 oz bottle) pasturised unfiltered apple cider to my kt when

I bottle it and I love it! It really brings out the natural apple-ey flavor and

gives the fizz a boost. It evens out an overly sour brew, too.

I have always wondered why the " big guys " like GT and High Country do not have

an apple version? I read a comment about that changing it and turning it into

(hard) cider? Does that small amount really make a difference? The " big guys "

have so many other juice related flavors, but is this hard cider thing the

reason they don't have apple? Any thoughts?

If you haven't tried it yet, do it! It is nirvana! Really good with that and

some ginger juice or a sprig of fresh mint or both! Yum!
