Guest guest
Hi everyone! This is the Dutchess.......again - lol!!! This post is concerning female health problems so all of our male Stilligan's if you don't desire to partake please delete this e-mail. I don't want to offend anyone, but I am having some trouble and want to see if anyone has experienced similar troubles. I went to get my annual OB/GYN exam knowing that I had a few issues to discuss, such as extremely heavy periods for 2 years now. They are so bad that even though I take iron every day I am still slightly anemic. My question is.....does anyone know if Still's can cause abnormally heavy periods and/or can steroids cause this? I've posted this question recently and it seems not many of you had this trouble. The other thing she found was that I have cervical cysts - oh fun! She removed one right there and then - OUCH!!! Has anyone had this? Cervical cysts??? I'm wondering if the dragon is causing this problem too? I've always been blessed with no female medical problems. She's sending that off to ensure it doesn't have cancer cells. Anyways......she's recommending a hysterectomy if my rheumy is ok with it. She said he has to be totally involved (which, of course I agree). She doesn't know if I'd have trouble with blood clotting and/or going under anesthesia? The blessing is I have two beautiful, healthy children and we know we are done birthing children - as soon as I went on MTX my husband had a vysectomy. So I'm thinking go for it - take it out!!! Any experience with this? She said I wouldn't have to go under the knife. The other option is the birth control pill - I just can't see taking another pill when I don't even need birth control - doesn't make sense to me. I will do that if the rheumy says no to a hysterectomy, though. I'm getting too weak from the heavy periods. My real question to all of you does Still's cause cysts and cycle problems - have any of you experienced this....Thanks for listening, even if no one has experienced this one...Love, The Dutchess of Dixie, Chris _________________________________________________________________ Is your PC infected?
