Someone with an Indian accent phoned me this evening saying they were in Durham

(I don't believe them) and saying that Microsoft had sent them a list or errors

showing there were serious problems with my computer and that microsoft had

asked them to fix it free of charge. They told me their website was

wwwcare4windows.com. This site exists but when I googled it there were only 10

entries so I relaise it was very fishy at that point. According to microsoft

security pages this is a current scam - I don't know if it is just for the money

or whether they want to hi-jack your computer, too, or whether it's just your

credit card details they want. Eventually they said they wanted £55 from PayPal.

I gave them nothing - but they were very plausible. (I am worried they may have

hi-jacked my computer, but they probably haven't.)
