I was told today by my child's teacher that the school can go for 2 yrs

legally without progress???? Is that true??? I was concerned because my

child has not made any documented progress for the first six weeks of school

so, basically he is 'flunking' all of his subjects. If my typical child

came home with a report card that stated he flunked all of his subjects the

principle would be on the phone wondering what we could do. How can we help

see progress???? I just can't believe special ed can get away with not

having to prove progress on a 6 week basis, just like regular ed! nna,

I know you have something to say about this. Please pipe in. Liz.
