usually seemed to have a harder time around the holidays. When

he was younger, the excitement of the holidays seemed to increase his

OCD. He'd be sooo excited about presents, etc. But when he got older,

thus less excited, LOL, I think just the weeks and weeks of school had

worn him down so that his OCD increased. He always started the school

year pretty well usually, but around November/Thanksgiving would begin

to show signs.

For us, it seems to be winter illness that sparks a flare up, but definitely

worse in winter. Summer was okay. We are all sick right now.

We have seen the same pattern and like you, can't really tell if it is increased

pressure from school, lack of daylight, etc. but it has been very consistent.

If you could get the school to work with you and the Dr. to try reduced homework

one year, that may allow you to tell if it is school pressure or not.

to much expectation concerning her grades. She is now in grade 11 and

it is harder. She is comparing herself to her twin sister who his

graduating this year. Do you notice that your child have certain time

of the year that they get worse?
