Guest guest Posted July 22, 2010 Report Share Posted July 22, 2010 Yes, we were offered this for our next scopes (colonoscopy and gastroscopy) on the NHS. In fact, they told us it is the only way to get a complete picture of the small intestine and stomach. They did say, however, that for a small child, they would still use a GA to place the pill cam in the esophagus as they don't allow children to swallow them. I don't know if it will be at Chelsea and Westminster or at that hospital in Harrow (St Mark's I think) that specialises in my son's GI condition (polyposis).
