Can't do it ! Like Agent Orange , they will admit the problem after the majority affected are dead!!!Sorry but I am pretty angry too at all the hush hush. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
ALL: The natural sciences are megayears ahead of the medical science field in understanding the deadly side of indoor environmental fungi contamination. It is really intriguing when one realizes that Veterinary Medicine has been alert to, and treating animals for years with conditions similar to humans due to fungi exposures. Agricultural science has been alert to and treating fungi exposures to agricultural products for years, while doctors from prominent medical schools are simply brushing such exposure off as allergy-related conditions. Many medical physicians are really ignorant (not stupid) because this (Human Pathology; an Introduction) was never taught in medical school? Give me a break! While people are dying and doctors are denying... and somewhere someone out there folks who know the reasons why are lying and the public isn't buying!!! And, for lack of better medical terminology, it is called " Junk Science " offered through media reporting. It is time for the medical profession, the governing body overseeing research and medical education to take a vacation from their silver lined clouds- pick up the science journals that are screaming for them to piece it all together into organized and documented medical science journaling and to cut the ego-trips into the universe and beyond and get back to helping those who suffer medically. This is not a total condemnation of the medical field, just a medical awakening call. Environmental fungi contamination in certain human types, many of the mid-age to elderly group, immuno-suppressed or compromised, immune depressed, or those with autoimmune diseases or even in rare cases immunocompetent cases can be extremely dangerous and deadly. I am getting down on medicine, and I do not really mean to... medicine today is the finest ever in history and getting better daily. However, I am seeing people suffering and dying of environmental fungal caused/related ailments and as a former Vietnam combat medic it makes me angry and frustrated that this is so apparent and evident, yet it is as if human beings are now nothing compared to economy, power, and prestige. Doctors work extremely hard and study long hours to understand and practice medicine, as to nurses and others in the medical field of survice worldwide. I honor and respect every doctor, even if I am angry or upset with their ignorance for my professional field Environmental Health Research and Education. But, we are all humans (not Gods) and we are all in this process called health with a primary purpose to serve God (as God is understood by all faiths) with all our hearts, power, and might! It is time we get back to earth and work toward the good of all humans and environmental fungi contamination is (and always has been) our most dangerous enemy, even greater than bacilli, viruses, and other pathogenic microorganisms. The cell of dangerous life-threatening fungi is leans far more toward that of a human cell than a plant cell, and since it gives off mycotoxin (various types at a time in some instances when at war with other fungal species in the environment) it is much stronger than that of its human counterparts (hosts) and much older ecologically. If you eat a poisonous mushroom and your body dies in rapid shutdown, you would say that mushroom (mold species) killes and is destructive to man. Why is it so hard for the medical profession and government or anyone else for that matter to understand that a fungal species with so much power does not have to kill fast. Also, that the human body is the perfect nutrient and climatic source for " opportunistic " flora (microorganisms) to live and eat in until an enemy either intrudes (e.g., Stachybotrys) or something disturbs the metabolic process enough to disturb flora (esp., fungi) into their opportunistic state. We need doctors who are world leaders and willing to stand up and at least check me out to see if I am lying or not! I would be very glad to meet this or any challenge, seeing that I don't use my personal beliefs in writing my materials but well-researched natural science at various levels involving the Decade of the Brain, The Human Genome Project, the studies of HIV/AIDS and Cancers (the human immune system), Probiotics and Environmental Sciences, etc. Over 15 years writing and research experience in advanced technology and science. Guest guest
I was told 10 yrs. ago that I had RA. And they suspected lupus as well. I had a positive and a negative lupus test. Now I have moved to Indianapolis,Indiana thinking I might be able to find a doctor who could pinpoint what is wrong with me. Today I went to a specialist and she says she is not sure if I have RA, because my RA factor runs between 167 and 304. She couldn't find the inflamation she says. But I have been hurting severely lately. So she is doing some more tests and checking for hepitis c which I have had this test before also. And it was negative. She says the tests that came back positive should have made my ANA test come back positive and it didn't. It came back negative. I have most of the lupus symtoms and I know I have RA. I hurt to bad and I swell. I just want someone to find out what it is and help me, from hurting and being so tired! If anyone has any information, please let me know. Guest guest
The norm for RF (Rheumatoid Factor) is 14 and under. So you definitely have something going on that shouldn't be...but you know that already! Now to get the doc to find it. The RF doesn't necessarily mean you have RA. Other conditions can have an elevated RF result. If the pain and swelling is mainly in joints perhaps they can xray to see what, if any, damage has been done. My ANA and sed tests were negative/normal and my RF was only slightly elevated. But the xrays sure show the story. Guest guest
The diagnosis is not as important as the treatment. If you are not being treated with a DMARD I suggest that you get to another rheumatologist. No labs or combination of labs can confirm or deny RA or Lupus. While awaiting a positive diagnosis you should be treated for something and RA is the most likely thing with Lupus being close behind. Fortunately the same treatments can work for both diseases. Please get some treatment, and if that requires a change in doctors please do so.
