What we would do if we didn't have worry about this food thing anymore? I just read that usually those of us who constantly worry about weight... about what to eat and what not to eat..... about the scale gong up and down.... about losing and gaining.... and worry and think... and worry.... that we are are avoiding dealing with life, or other scary things. That we keep dealing with the weight problem because it's safe. We know how to deal with the pain, guilt and worry of the weight. We're just not so sure we can deal with other stuff. So we keep perpetuating the weight struggle. It really started me thinking. If I wasn't constantly thinking about food... what can I eat and when can I eat it.... what would I think about? What would I worry about? I wonder if I would be able to appreciate my life more? Would I actually enjoy life more? Or would the things I'm avoiding destroy me? Just a thought....
