,

what are you doing for training and have you ever done a 5k before?

I'm asking as I downloaded a free podcast from iTunes (couch to 5K) and have

been doing it for two weeks now (you do intervals of running/walking) on a

treadmill and still cannot imagine that I'll be running at the end of this (8

weeks) ... so am looking for validation that it is possible!!

all of this from a non-runner who wants to just be faster & have more lung

capacity!

ARGH!!

Colleen,

I have the itunes podcast but I also use the sparkpeople website and they have a

training program on there as well.  It's pretty much the same thing.  Walk a

min, Jog for three is usually how they start out.

Consistency is key.  I started it a couple time and didn't stick with it.  I

am

doing it this time!  I will update you on my progress. If you need support,

email me :)

You can do this,we can do this!

Hugs,

2. didnt snack between breakfast and lunch

3. didn't snack between lunch and dinner

4. called to check on a friend

5. walked the dog

I know, I feel like an overachiever, but I gotta take them when they come.....
