I finally recieved my Udos from MegaWaitaLongTime.com. Hmm, it doesn't taste bad. Reminiscent of peanut shells. Anyway, after one day of ownership, I picked up my bottle from the fridge this morning and dropped it. Not a good thing at $14 a pop. Being the athlete I am, I 'caught' it with my foot and kicked it straight up into my waiting hands, flipped it over and returned it safely onto my counter top. Then I got real and took the popping plastic stuff it was delivered in, and made a sort of thermos flask protection casing for it. If I drop it again, it should bounce. Anyway, I put some in DH's shake (not Myoplex - my own) which I make up the night before for his work the next day. All day I was concerned that he would phone and say he had globs of fat floating in his drink, but no! He said he just shook it up and it was the same as always. Even got him to take 1T of it neat last night, and he's a real, "Don't even think of putting any of that supplement @#% & in my body" kind of guy. Small steps, small steps.......

I am curious because I may try that after I am done with the vat of flaxseed oil I just purchased. Of course that may not be until I am on Social Security, but eventually I would like to try the Udo's.

Hiya Jjen, Social Security - love it!! Udo's has a very mild flavor but in my shake, (Vanilla Myo Lite) I could definitely taste nuts. Don't want that so I took it neat yesterday evening. Once your mind gets over the fact that you are actually going to open your mouth and pour OIL into it, the sensation and the taste is over in a flash. Last night, DH said he could still feel it on his lips afterwards so he wiped his mouth. He ate garlic chicken the day before so I didn't wipe mine, sayshayed seductively over to him thinking, "Get a load of this baby!" and I planted one full on his mouth! Love. It's always the answer. All the best, .

I had to laugh at " MegaWaitaLongTime.com " !! I just started with

flaxseed oil and have found that it tastes a little nutty (not crazy-

nutty, but walnut-nutty). It mixes up just great in my Designer

Protein, Precision Protein, and Myoplex, but I can definitely taste

it.

Hey, good save on the dropped bottle! I was picturing you doing a

little dance to keep it from dropping on the floor, LOL!! Now, how

would you describe the taste of the Udo's oil? You said peanut

shells, but I am wondering if it has a strong flavor or a mild

flavor? I am curious because I may try that after I am done with the

vat of flaxseed oil I just purchased. Of course that may not be

until I am on Social Security, but eventually I would like to try the

Udo's.

Hey, I just received my Flora's Flax Oil from them today and ordered

on March 6th or so. I had been using the Vitamin World stuff and it

tasted funny so I will really anxious to get the Flora's and try it.

This doesn't taste much and if I put it in a shake or cottage cheese,

I can't taste it. I could taste the other stuff and it wasn't

pleasant, so I just took it by the spoon to get it over with.

They ended up sending me 8-8.5 oz bottles instead of 4-17 oz. since

they were out. Yes, the stuff is expensive. I think I will try the

UDO's next time for a change.
