Guest guest
This morning I ran 3 miles through my neighborhood. I started at 11:36 and finished at 12:08. I walked for a few minutes during the 2nd part of the hill up Mt. Tabor and for the first half of the hill down Mt. Tabor. It took 32 minutes, and I'm very happy with this time for my first outside 3 mile run of the year! My shins are starting to talk to me so I will take a few days off from running. I talked with Dr. No and he said if the shin splints get bad he can heal them with the laser and other fancy stuff. Yay! I don't want shin splints to keep me from running! After that and I did Grilley's Yin Yoga, Practice for the Spine, which is an hour long. It's a wonderful stretch for the legs and spine, and for the one backbend I couldn't do I smashed out the knots in my shins on the foam roller instead. Am happy with my 8.5 hour week, especially given that I'm nursing an injured shoulder: Sunday Taught Best of Turbo Kick Vol. 2, in a sling! 1 Monday WATP Super Fat Burning, 3 miles on rebounder 0.75 Tuesday Bridge Walk 1 Stott Pilates: Core Challenge 0.5 Wednesday Bridge Walk 1 Core Secrets: One Leg Up on the Competition 0.75 Thursday 2 mile 'hood run + foam roller stretching 0.5 Friday Bridge Walk 1 WATP for Abs 1 mile, on rebounder 0.25 Pilates for Life intermediate workout on the ball 0.25 Saturday 3 mile 'hood run 0.5 Yin Yoga w/ Griley, Practice for the Spine 1 8.5 I'm at 180 lbs, down 35 lbs from October. I have 40 more to go to reach my goal of 140. Pizza tonite with the folks, so I have a sinking feeling the scale might be up a tad tomorrow but this will be my cheat day for the week. Amalfie's pizza is just the best there is and I can't control myself there! I've been good with diet otherwise this week Tomorrow I think I will try either Legs of Steel, Killer Butt with Delores Munoz, or another lower body Core Secrets workout and a long walk. It's too pretty outside to NOT take a walk! I'm grateful to have a sub to teach tomorrow's class, as my shoulder isn't at capacity yet for that. Here's to a new week of workouts! I love that you've been able to continue even with that injury. On Sat, May 15, 2010 at 2:04 PM, Pink Pussycat <pinkpussycat@...> wrote: This morning I ran 3 miles through my neighborhood.
