Guest guest
Hi , I'm no expert, but I usually use 1 tea bag per 2 cups of water, so would use 4 tea bags in your recipe. The recipe in the files calls for 5-6 tea bags per gallon. I like the stronger flavor, though. I have seen recipes call for anywhere between 1 to 1 2/3 cups of sugar per gallon, so the 1/2 cup sugar seems pretty good for a half gallon of KT, but you could go with more. I'd probably cut back on the tea bags, but otherwise try the recipe as it says and see how you like it.
