Guest guest
After my first few weeks brewing I have finally realised why I never have any kombucha to drink. I havent enough sizeable containers deemed suitable for brewing! I have a couple of 1.5 litre pyrex bowls going, no wonder I am running out. minimum 2 x 600ml per person per day 1200ml x 7 I really need to be making a minimum of 10 litres a week to include 10% liqueur to put back with the mother. So two questions, can I use plastic wine fermenting kit safely? Several sources say no, several say thats what they use. If I find a suitable 10 litre container, what sort of weight/size scoby is going to be needed to cope with that volume?
