Hi V!

Thanks so much for writing-I get so many emails a day through this list that

yours got deleted and I lost touch. :-( Thanks for writing again! I'd love

eto share motivation, tips, and nutrition ideas! How are things going for

you?

I started out around 18% bf and my goal is 12% (eventually) . I am on

W10D3C1 right now and have seen the most results these past two weeks, mostly

as a result of perfecting the nutrtion, doing less cardio (than the previous

45-60 minutes 6 x per week), and I cut out Parkay Butter Spray, which has

really made a huge differnce in my results. Stay away from it if you can!

We'll talk soon! :-)

Try " I Can't Believe It's Not Butter " spray. According to the info on the

bottle, it has pretty much nothing of anything in it - no cals, no carbs, no

fat, no protein. But it sure make bread taste less dry :o)

Have any of you tried the Brummel and Brown yogurt spread? It is great, as well as the flavored yogurt spread. That's what I use for butter/margarine.

Cheryl :)

Hey V!

Thanks for writing, I hear you on the fat loss difficulties. I also think

that the first challenge just might be all about learning what your body does

and doens' trespond well towards. I have found that during this challenge,

I've actually seen more results when I added carbs--a HUGE change for me, as

I think I overcame the protein only myth. Also, I actually cut down on my

running and rotate every other day-short springs, longer distance runs. It's

great to know how much control I can have when I work out smart and not

always operate under the philosophy that " more is better. "

Look forward to talking again soon!

I hear you on the " so many e-mails " . I'm doing " o.k. " but that's it.

The toning part is going well. The weight loss part isn't going

anywhere. Unfortunately...I did not get my body fat tested before I

started and I think I tested it around W7 and if the calculations are

correct (not to mention my memory) I'm around 24%...of course looking

to go down into the teens. I've been sick a couple of times during

this program and slacked off a few weeks (exercising 3 days instead

of 6) but I finishing C1 in about 10 days.

But I've learned tons...what works for me supplement and nutrition

wise and what DOESN'T so I'm doing challenge.

This time I intend to keep a food intake diary...I've purchased a

GREAT book " The Complete Book of Food Counts " which is awesome..it

has the break-down of fat, carb., sodium, calories etc. for

everything type of food know to mankind. I'm also going to keep up

those morning runs and lessen my carb intake.

I'm sure I'll do much better in C2.

Keep in touch!!

V

Try I can't believe it is not butter the fat free kind. NO Carbs, NO fat

and it tastes like real margerine. It is much better then what is suggested

below. If you want to know....
