Hello and Chaser, has a series of six podcasts about

plateaus. They are numbers 26 through 31. She talks about plateaus

being sort of like a way station, you stop here and rest for a while

before going on with your journey. Plateaus can drive us nuts, but they

are really a gift. During a plateau you are learning to maintain that

particular weight before heading down further weight-wise. Another

set of podcasts that might help here too is the 'Relaxed Intent " ,

numbers 16 and 17. It may be that you are trying too hard and you need

to relax a little over the issue.

And with the achilles tendon injury, perhaps you could try

doing upper body exercises until it heals. It would make you feel

better about yourself, and definitely continue listening to the

podcasts, there are such nuggets of wisdom in there! " I knew once I

wasn't able to work out anymore that I would start gaining- and I did! "

Talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy. You could rephrase that to " I

know I can't work out like I did before this injury, but I will do

whatever I can to challenge and be good to my body " Do not feel

discouraged, says that each time you try to lose weight you come

closer to success. You gain knowledge and abilities that you didn't

have before.

Right now I am listening to the series on abundance and am so amazed. I

listened to all four podcasts yesterday and learned so much. I had the

most amazing day. I own a small store and this is a very busy time for

us. I sailed through the day so happily and easily. No, I didn't get

rich, physically, but mentally I gained so much!
