This link didn't work for me either but if you go to a Search tool like Ask Jeeves and enter "Body Fat Calculator" you will get linked to lots of other sites that you can try. Good luck, .

Does anyone out there know how to calculate the amount of bodyfat lost. For

instance, during the past 12 weeks my weight dropped from 207 to 184 and my

bodyfat dropped from 30% to 24%. I keep reading about BFL participants and their

" bodyfat lost " but need help with the calculation.

Thanks,

Rick (torontoan)

required, you just use a tape measure. And its fairly accurate for

tracking purposes if you measure in the same places all the time.

Tried it again and it worked. It had me 3% higher than the hydrostatic.

I played with the numbers. I'm being penalized 2-3 inches for my

big butt/top of quads (I go pretty heavy on squats). I also have

a pretty thick back, but there's some fat back there too that I'd like

to lose...but I really don't see my legs/butt getting any smaller (hope

not anyway).

I tried it too. It had me 2% higher than calipers.

I found the recommendations interesting. Apparently, my healthy body

fat target is higher than my current. It has said I should get 455

gms of carbs per day and 118 gms of protein and 3100 calories. Those

recommendations are way off for BFL.
