You can certainly try to eliminate as much risk as possible by not interfering with the natural process of pregnancy but use good sense. I had pitocin with all 3 of my children and vitamin K and all their shots. I also had epidurals with all three and 1 needed forceps and another a vacuum extractor. I had premature labor with 2 and early bleeding with the 3rd. I have one child with ASD. If I had left my pregnancy and birth up to mother nature both me and my babies would not be here today. In my case it would have been very dangerous to have a child at home. I still don't vaccinate with anything " extra " just in case thermisol is still in the vaccines, but this is an easy choice because the only vaccine we missed is the MMR booster that they all were tested to have already had immunity.
