Guest guest
((((((((((((Viv))))))))))Sorry for your loss! And thanks for sharing! This is inspiring to me, especially since I recently went back to my " old ways " , self-corrected (although it took me a loooooong time) and now feel a bit discouraged that this might continuously happen when times get rough. Thanks again! Jantje > > Hi > I thought I would post to let you know of my positive experience in a negative week. Guest guest
First, I'd like to say that I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend. (((Viv))) WoW!!!!!! This is very inspiring!!! I definitely fear being able to maintain any weight loss I may have. To know that you can go through a painful experience, binge, and self correct gives me hope! Thank you! Alyce Lasting change Hi I thought I would post to let you know of my positive experience in a negative week. Since finding the podcasts six months ago I have lost weight continually and consitently. I have changed my habits and my beliefs. I have dropped 4 dress sizes and am very close to my hoped for weight. Guest guest
((Viv)) So sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing how you handled it. Somehow the way you phrased your lasting limiting belief made something click for me, in a way that I think I can work with it. Moving forward.... ________________________________ From: Vivienne <ruffed.lemur@...> weightloss Sent: Thu, August 26, 2010 4:41:28 PM Subject: Lasting change  Hi I thought I would post to let you know of my positive experience in a negative week. Since finding the podcasts six months ago I have lost weight continually and consitently. I have changed my habits and my beliefs. I have dropped 4 dress sizes and am very close to my hoped for weight. However, I had one lasting limiting belief which was about whether I could sustain the new behaviours and beliefs when really challenged. If life feels good it is easy to be positive isn't it. On Monday, very sadly I had the news of the death of special friend very unexpectedly. On Monday evening, I snacked and drank through the evening, just like the old Viv - something I haven't done for six months. However on Monday morning, I recognised that food, despite being my previous comfort of choice, could not help the hurt. I self corrected, used all my other lines of defence instead and for the last four days have continued being naturally slender. I just wanted to share this, to give you faith that once the new beliefs and behaviours are embedded, you will be able to know that the change will be lasting and will make you stronger to deal with what life throws at you and those you love.
