Guest guest
Hello all, I am new to BFL-C1W2D4-so far so good. I am also a SAHM that homeschools 4 daughters. Didn't think I'd find any HSM's here! I have a question-on my UBW yesterday, my arm muscles were quivering really bad. They didn't hurt, (except for the burn they are supposed to have) it was just annoying! I heard that when you work your muscles, you should go for the burn but the quivering is not good. Can anyone explain why this was happening? Should I just keep going or am I damaging my muscles? (Please don't tell me the weight was to heavy because I'm sure it wasn't. I'm too embarrased to state the weight I was using but it was definately not too heavy.) Thanks in advance for any replys. Donna H.
Guest guest
Dumbbells or a machine? As long as you maintain form stay with it as you won't injure yourself. Slow the lift and lowering a bit and concentrate on staying in control and feeling the muscle work. As you get stronger the stabilizing should improve. Your muscles are learning that they can lift weight. Be sure to practice excellent form at all times. Stay strong. You'll experience the greatest gains at this time in strength. Focus as well on keeping your arms stable as you lift and lower. :=) Kit
