Guest guest
Hi all, I was wondering this the other day - where have all the nettles gone? seriously... we have none in our wild 200 foot garden (we do have plenty of dandelions/grape vine/ bramble leaves for tea making) It was only when we were looking to make nettle tea/soup (i remember my nan making it..) that i realised it's all gone! I've looked far and wide and the only place i can find it is where the golf course backs on to the road (i know the golf course has masses of crap sprayed on it - you shouild see the colour of the grass) and i wouldn't eat that. i live in Kent so we're not talking central London here! Sandy, where did you get the ground organic nettle from please? Guest guest
We did nettle soup at our home-ed co-op last week - I was very sceptical (although not as much as Callum;-) - but it was really good - a splash of cream and a bit of nutmeg made quite a bit of difference though.
