TWO years ago today......

I wasn't going to mark this anniversary... until... Well... let me tell

you. If Dr. K wasn't married to that wonderful Dawn, I'd kiss him!

Two years ago today, my life was given back to me. Health restored! I

found that *I* was a worthy human being and individual who really did

matter! I found that the pills doctors were giving me to help me " live a

more comfortable, normal life " were doing NOTHING but causing more problems!

I searched out and found the ONE person who gave me back everything I had

before the age of 28... Dr. K

2 years ago, I weighed in at 318. My BMI was 52.8 I was ill.

CONSTANTLY... with one ailment or another.

Today I weighed in at 163. My BMI is 26. And today.... today of all

days... I didn't even realize it was my 2 year anniversary until I looked

at the calendar on the computer! Today, I actually FIT (and DAMN GOOD I

might add) into my prom dress I wore to my husband's prom in 1987!!! It

doesn't have a size... it was custom made. But Dang.... I called him and

told him and he was so happy... and so am I.

I love life!!!

When I read your story in the newsletter it brought tears to my eyes,

and now its 2 years...and life is great. It is a wonderful gift and

a miracle to me how this has made us whole, where we felt unworthy

before. It has changed my outlook on life and my compassion to
