Guest guest
Jerry et al, I already responded to Jerry's day, but Ann's comment of " victory " really struck home. Those who are weight deprived (read skinny!!!) have no idea what doing little things mean to us, NOW. Buckling a seat belt, walking up a flight of stairs without having a heart attack, having a lap for kids to sit on, fitting into a booth at a restaurant, space between us and the steering wheel, walking to the top of a hill to see the beauty below. They do not know its sweetness that these ordinary little things bring to our lives. I am sorry that I was MO for 46 years, but I would not trade the empathy morbid obesity gave me-not for one million dollars. _____ From: positivelyann@... Guest guest
Jim, I feel exactly the same way! I'm so grateful to have had the experience, as bad as it could be at times, because I feel it's made me a better person. Hugs!
