I am also getting something purportedly from Microsoft urging me to

install this patch immediately! It has an attachment. I have had

to delete this message twice now. Of course, it must be a virus.

Yes, the Microsoft email, despite usually LOOKING legit, IS a virus.

The latest virus, the one that is big in the news right now is yet

another distributed Denial of Service attack on SCO (Techno-

terrorism). Normally, I don't like to see people bend due to the

threats of terrorists, but in the case of SCO, they have brought it

against themselves. They are sueing IBM in a case with

ramifications affecting millions of people, businesses and

governments, without proving they have any basis for their law suit.

Hey Marta, I've got that Microsoft email twice a day for two weeks now in my

account. of course I delete it.....

Marta,I have gotten that also,would Microsoft be telling us that way.

It comes only to my account,not the others.
