Dr. Montgomery will be speaking on the ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) approach. He is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst as well as traditional licensed clinical psychologist, with over two decades of experience working with diverse populations across a range of settings. He was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Association for Science in Autism Treatment. He also served on the original American Psychological Association Task Force on Empirically Validated Treatments, on the Alabama Behavior Analysis Peer Review Committee, and as Chair of the Clinical Behavior Analysis Interest Group of the Association for Behavior Analysis. He has published in a variety of professional journals on such applied topics as compliance training, medication effects on developing brains, reduction of aggression, and overcorrection. Dr. Montgomery has also taught clinical and behavioral courses at Argosy, Auburn, and Georgia State Universities. Dr. Montgomery is currently licensed as a psychologist in Alabama and Georgia.
