It's just flotsam of tea leaves and maybe yeasty strings - all very normal and part of a happy brewing jar. Don't wash the scobys with water, please, but just rinse them in your KT (which you can later strain through a tea strainer). You do not want to dilute their acidity through washing them in water water. Happy brewing - messy is beautiful and makes good KT!
