using ALA

We've just received results of ONE test for my NT daughter (had tests because of

other issues). Shows significant need for antioxidants. Amongst others report

recommends ALA. Is it Ok to use this on its own as an antioxidant.

I don't know if I'm confusing myself after trying to keep up with posts relating

to AC chelation protocol.

Will using ALA on its own as antioxidant cause heavy metals to deposit in other

places?

I Agree with Mandi,

It's not worth the risk,

Someone I care about a lot was Rxed ALA once daily and took it for about 12

months in a multivitamin. He had 3 amalgams too. He is in absolutely terrible

shape right--so much so that it scares me. I am helping him to chelate properly

now, after amalgam removal, but he has a long road ahead of him.

I feel terrible that this happened to someone in my own family. It is much,

much more common than most of us would know, but rarely identified. Had he not

been related to me, and eventually had me figure out what he was doing, I hate

to think what his long term quality of life would be. Very, very poor.

Hi is,

thanks for your input. I didnt realize that you'd done the same thing--not

realizing the mercury was still there. I am hopeful he will get better. I feel

pretty confident that I can help him as his issues really aren't that different

than those of my son, who has autism. He just received the toxic insults at a

different time in his life.
