I have been a vegetarian nearing all my life. That is long. I will not to get

addicted to anything.I keep changing the foods in my diet, so i do not get into

a one track minded diet. Still on top of my health! Seems to work for me.I had a

headstart,my Mom she was a vegetarian too. I make kale, bananas and almond milk

smoothies.I use mostly sprouted seeds and nuts. The almonds do get sprouted my

soy gets sprouted, even my tofu is from sprouted soy beans, and organic,so is my

tempeh. Neither do eat those daily. I do not drink soy milk, well a little in my

tea, and agave. Sometimes i use to cream a soup up with soy.I do flax

oil, coconut oil,and olive oil.Use the coconut milk. Make 10 gallons of kombucha

a week, taking care of friends and relatives, and the homeless, and there is

still plenty left for me :)) My best friend lives on a very different diet,

eating meats and some cheese. We still best friends, living as neighbors for 35

years. Each to their own happiness and health. Nevertheless i believe, changing

and rotating foods in ones diet is a good thing.(I am gluten and lactose free) I

am not doing this because this is asome trend. In fact lots of people may

think, since they find it inconcievable or unhealthy maybe I just am trying to be

different. I am not trying I am ! It seems as the world is coming around to

these different ways, and sometimes meets me halfway so we can shake hands. I am

always open to new ideas ! I love superfoods! So simple, green, full of proteins

enzymes and vitamins.

> Amen to that Laurie! Couldn't agree more. We are big fans of the Weston A

Price Foundation and Nourishing Traditions. We make close to 8 gallons of KT a

week and about 2 gallons of milk kefir a day. BTW, we have plenty of kefir

grains if anybody needs some.
