Walking warmup of 4 blocks, dashing across Front Avenue before the light turns and the white man turns into the orange hand.  Starting off strong with Twilight Zone from a 90's dance compilation on the iPod shuffle and peee-eeew the manure/fertilizer they just put on the grass along the west bank of the waterfront sure stinks!  The slower people really need to move over to the right, learn your Esplanade Etiquette, People!!

Hoping I can easily finish today, haven't ran the bridges in about a week.  Steel Bridge ahead, YES!  Almost halfway there!  It's so nice out, what a great feeling to be moving like this in the middle of the work day!  Sweat streaming down my face, need to remember to wear a dew rag next jaunt.  Hot guy just said hello to me, too bad they never turn around and chase me to give me their phone number!

Okay, this is one of two small inclines, easy peasy after this.  Here is the statue of the gate, quick, make a wish!  Vera Katz statue on the right, we are on the home stretch, Bay-bee!  Up the small hill to the Hawthorne Bridge, The Offspring pipe through the ear buds,  pick up the pace, this is the last leg and it's short!  End of bridge, walk.  Flood of endorphins surging.  Feeling the sun, thanking the Earth for the weather, thanking the Life Force for breathing Life into me and allowing for my body to move freely like this, stretching my calves on the lampost on 2nd and Main.  Walk through the park, heading to a hot shower!
