Guest guest
So, I actually managed to log my food today and did pretty good at staying in my calorie, carb, protein, and fat ranges.Breakfast--Special K, skim milk, 2 pieces whole wheat toast, orange juice Snack--salad with fat free cheese and fat free dressingLunch--homemade cheeseburger (96% lean beef, whole wheat bun, fat free cheese, and fat free mayo), apple slices with caramel dipping sauceSnack--skipped it because I was running errands (grocery shopping) Dinner--Parmesan chicken and au gratin potatoesSnack--Oreo crisps (100 calorie pack)Calories--2848Carbs--559 grams, 79%Protein--90 grams, 13%Fat--27.5 grams, 9% For my workout I did P90X Shoulders and Arms. This workout is 60 minutes long, basically a warm up, 5 rounds of exercises (3 exercises, one shoulder, one bicep, and one tricep, repeated 2 twice is one round), and a cool down. I don't like that Tony does ballistic stretching. I just don't feel stretched from that. I also don't like that he doesn't mirror cue. I know that takes practice, but for crying out loud, how many videos has he made and hasn't learned it yet? I did light weights (5 and 8 pound dumbbells) because this was the first time I had done this workout and didn't know what to expect. I will definitely go heavier next time. I really liked the workout. It's similar to what I do in the gym only I usually do multiple sets of the same exercise instead of one set for 3 exercises and repeat like this video. Pretty simple exercises even if he didn't call them by their proper names (another pet peeve he aggravates for me) but he calls them by the name of the people who showed them to him and who knows where else he came up with these names? I really think I would love these workouts if it was a different instructor, but as is they are good workouts. Maybe I'll try some of the other sound tracks without Tony after I've done them a couple of times to know what is coming up. Guest guest
There are other options but I've been selecting the Normal sound option because I haven't done the workouts before. I feel like I have to know the routine before I try to do it without instruction because he calls things by weird names. Guest guest
I'm one of the strange ones that really likes Tony a lot, but the odd names do drive me nuts. When I first started doing some of his workouts I didn't know for sure if I was using proper form and wanted to find websites with detailed instructions so I googled the exercises only to not find anything exercise-related about "lawnmower" for one example! :-) Tonya's Day 5/12 So, I actually managed to log my food today and did pretty good at staying in my calorie, carb, protein, and fat ranges.
