Guest guest
I've been a member of the group for a while and read the daily posts digests, but admittedly don't post very often. I've been out of the dating and social scene for a while and considering re-entering for friends and social activities. Is there an online dating site for positive singles that anyone in the group can recommend? Thanks.
Guest guest
POZ Personals (www.Poz.com) is a fairly large site, albeit a little sleepy sometimes, and it doesn't have the bells and whistles of some of the large gay cruise sites. But it may be the most comprehensive site strictly for poz dating. You might also want to join what is more of a "community," and that is POZIAM (www.poziam.com), which is "a social network for support, education & sharing experiences about living with HIV/AIDS." They have a policy about no nudity or "let's do it, stud" postings because they want to make it a safe, social space for people to relax and make friends. But that's kinda how the best relationships get started, right? You can also simply check out the large cruise sites like Manhunt or Adam4Adam or BarebackRT (.com) and choose to have your status as part of your profile, which many do. These sites are large and have lots of options like provate chat, video, etc., but they aalso are more likely to have guys who are not looking for relationships and just want to boink you, a higher percentage of guys who use drugs (I was on them all the time when I was in active addiction). and you will have to contend with the whole "Drug and Disease Free, UB2" and "Are you clean?," all of which I find ignorant and demoralizing. Good luck! And don't forget to consider volunteering for a local AIDS organization, joining a bowling league, or seeing if your city has any sort of poz social events. Mark Mark S. Guest guest
Don't forget the Strength In Numbers (SIN) groups as well! They are great for social activities, and are usually formed by city or geography. You can Google SIN (might have to spell it out) plus the town or major city where you live/close to. The SIN website is at: www.strengthinnumbers.org/
