Guest guest
Subject: Reminder: Sept. 20 FACES meeting on ABA Therapy Don't forget the upcoming F.A.C.E.S. meeting on Sept. 20 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Walton Career Academy, 212 Road, Monroe, GA. Guest speaker is Tami Burt, ABA therapist. Tami Burt is an ABA/VABA therapist working with children both at home and in their school settings. This summer she co-taught an inclusion classroom for e County for children with autism and typical peers. This was the first summer program of its kind for e County. Tami has been working with children through ABA/VABA therapy for thirteen years and has been teaching children with special needs for twenty-one years. Her husband is the children’s pastor at Faith Baptist Church. Tami has taken part in training a staff of shadows so that children with autism and other special needs have the opportunity to succeed right alongside their same-age peers. She will be giving an overview of Applied Behavior Analysis and Verbal Behavior, what it looks like in a home program and what it looks like in the school setting. Childcare is available with an RSVP by MONDAY, SEPT. 17. Hope to see you all there, www.georgiafaces.info Email and AIM finally together. You've gotta check out free AOL Mail!
