I am looking for an educational advocate to work with me on my son's

school placement and services. Can anyone recommend a good advocate or

direct me to where I should start? We are in Gwinnett County.

Thanks,

Angie

Hi Angie, I was just about to sen a e-mail asking for that. I live at Cobb county and I don't have a IEP coming up but would like to get some recommendations from other parents to be ready when the time came. Hi, my name is Angie Acree and I live in Carroll County. Gerald Nelms is an advocate in Cobb County and has Georgia Advocacy Association. He is good. There is also a woman who is the parent of a son with autism in ding County named Duncan who teaches at Nebo Elementary. I don't have her number and I don't think she has a web site. If you need more info on how to contact these 2 people, email me at womanintheshoe2@... and I will be able to provide it by Sunday. Boardwalk for $500? In 2007? Ha! Play Monopoly Here and Now (it's updated for today's economy) at Games.
