We are sending our son to 's Ladder. Though it's only been a

short time, I've been very impressed with the program. I'd really like

to hear of any experiences with 's that other parents could

share. I'm new to the board and wish I had known of it sooner, but

would love some input now. Thanks!

I homeschool my son and Amy helped me with my home program. We have been very happy.

Hi! My son went to 's for 9 months (full time for the first 4).

He made a little progress here and there. We removed him and placed

him at Kaleidoscope recently. This is an ABA school that emphasises

verbal behavior, and he's improved more in the 2 months there than all

of the nine at 's. I won't say that anything is wrong with

Jabob's, however I believe that it just wasn't 's approach. I

thought it might be since 's is such a sensory-friendly place and

has SID in addition to ASD. But I will say this . . . we

spent a fortune there over the 9 months. We depleted much of our

savings in order for him to attend. At this new school, can

get 25 hours each week for what we were spending at Jabob's with only

9 per week. I hope this helps. Email me privately if you want more

information.

Is Kaleidoscope with ? If so

I can say that she is an amazing therapist. She did my initial training when I

worked with the school system. I learned a LOT

with her and still compare everything I do and all of the consultants I work

with to her. I say kudos to her and her continued success with autism.

Yes, runs Kaleidoscope. She's wonderful and she deeply cares

for the kids. has 4 different therapists he sees there, and

what I really like about is that she pays CLOSE attention to

's program and how he's progressing. She really knows her

stuff! We're so pleased with her and the school!
