Guest guest
I have a link at the end to an article with polls on what various nations think about globalization. I think what the results are showing, especially in the US, is that people are catching on that corporations are shipping jobs overseas where labor is cheaper so that they can maximize profits. In the US, we have lost are 4 million manufacturing jobs in the last 10 to 12 years. Those jobs have gone to Mexico and China mostly. That is a big cut to the middle class. Those high paying jobs have a ripple effect in that since there is less money in the system, there is less call for service industry jobs, like grocery stores, restaurants and other things. That means other people are out of work or have lower paying jobs, which also has its own ripple effect. http://www.ft.com/cms/s/2a735dd0-3873-11dc-bca9-0000779fd2ac.htmlGet a sneak peek of the all-new AOL.com.
