Dear Sherry,

Other antibiotics that can be used are erythromycin, clarithromycin,

azithromycin, among others. I hope you can help your friend on IRC. Let us

know if we can help also.

have been so quiet on here. We are having a really busy summer and I have my two

neices and newphew staying with us for three weeks. Plus we have VBS and are all

involved except for my oldest daughter who is working. One other question how

many of you have had children that developed the same illness that you have? I

was wondering how common that really is. I have a gene that brought mine on as

far as we know and that can be passed down. Both of my daughters already have

curves in their backs the docs say there is not reason to test them since it is

so expensive and they can not prevent it, if the gene is there and is active

then they will have to take it one step at a time. My oldest is going to be

tested before she has any children for fear even if she has the gene and it is

not active that she could pass it on to a child. She was already thinking of

adoption vs having children anyway. My husband and I have been foster parents

for years and she has been very supportive of that.

We also had a lot of trouble with smells when Candida and metals were really

bad. Given his high levels of antibiotics, I'd treat for Candida infestation

if you haven't already done so. Also, consider NAET or TBM allergy

treatments or even EPD allergy treatments since they tend to be more immune

boosting and longer lasting than the traditional. For accute reactions to

foods, Alkaseltzer Gold works really well.

Hi,

regarding allergies to antibiotics.

I was allergic to penicillin when I was young, but heard one could grow

out of it. So I went to an

allergist and was tested. I am no

longer allergic and am no taking augmentin.

Its best

to see an allergist, not all do the abx testing. You have to call and find out first. I called 5 before I found one who would

do it. Good luck. The testing takes just a few minutes

and then at least you will know for sure.

My insurance paid for it.

Aetna US Hell Care. I am in

bad shape mentally right now, so if this makes no sense please forgive me

A lot of what are called allergies are really " leaky gut "

problems and enzymatic blockages. In PDD kids both are present in

most, and these have to be dealt with.

Mercury is documented to block the enzymatic processes for digesting

milk cassein, wheat gluten, vitamin B-6 and B-12, cysteine, etc.

(for documentation see www.home.earthlink.net/~berniew1/kidshg.html)

Also mercury and other toxics weaken the immune system so that the

immune system has a hard time dealing with a lot of " minor " allergines

that it otherwise could.

When you get rid of the toxic exposures, strengthen the immune system,

deal with the " leaky gut " issues, the allergies usually get much

better. Many are helped by NAET with the allergies, but its another

expense. Some get it paid for by insurence.

Thanks Bernie!

We hope to begin chelation soon to deal with the toxic exposures. Before we

do, though, I really want to get a sense that I am on the right track with

the other issues.

Are there certain medical tests that we should do? (Besides DDI hair)

I have been attempting to strengthen the immune system through

supplementation these last 9 months. Although now I am questioning whether

or not I have done more damage by giving the oral glutatione.

What do you recommend for dealing with the " leaky gut " issues? We give

ProBio Gold twice a day...but is that enough? We have been GFCF for nine

months also.

We have been doing NAET for 9 months and I believe it has helped, but it

can't seem to reach some of the allgeries.

I appreciate any and all guidance. Thanks.

I appreciate any and all guidance. Thanks.

Sounds like you've made a good start. I'm not very familiar with

the gut issues, but think that labs like Great Smokies have a stool test

that might help identify the things causing problems. There is also

a good chance that parasites could be involved.

Common in most areas in those with weakened immune system. Consider

Hulda

remedies www..net or .org

and search for zapper or ultimate zapper and check out

what they say;

not expensive and have helped many, several who I know.

If you knew an NT child who has suddenly come down with " Energy-Induced

Asthma, " would you consider chelation after all allergens had been

removed

and the diet modified to conform to food allergies?

I would get a hair test, cheap and easy; you'll likely find

No. It's very simple using muscle testing. No pain. No injections. The

whole procedure is based upon using the Chinese Energy Meridians and

acupressure points on each of those. Once the allergy clearing is done you

just have to avoid the substance for 25 hours and then it's out of your

system. I can eat pretty near anything I want now as compared with five

years ago when the only remaining foods I wasn't allergic to was cooked brown

rice and steamed celery. I also tested allergic to thyroid hormone,

estrogen, progesterone, iodine, etc. All factors in continuing

hypothyroidism. My doctor cleared me of those allergies, too. It is such a

cool process! I hope you try it!

Dear ,

The testing is done with purified samples of the specific allergen in a vial.

The patient holds the vial and the doctor uses muscle kinesiology or

something similar to see how the body reacts in the presence of the allergen.

For treatment, the doctor stimulates the Chinese meridian systems, usually

around the spine while the patient continues to hold the vial of the

allergen. Then the patient is instructed to avoid eating or touching the

substance for 25 hours. It the person no longer reacts in an allergic manner

after that time, then they are cleared to that allergy.

Dr. Nabudripad, the developer of the method, has gone on to discover how to

group similar allergens together into one purified sample and test for that.

Thus, you can be cleared of larger numbers of offenders in a similar category

or family and that helps you get unallergic quicker. She can test and treat

you for an allergy to B vitamins, which are in nearly every food. Thus, you

don't have to specifically clear meat, fish, chicken, etc., unless there is

something specifically about that one food or substance that is causing

further allergic reactions.

I use to work for a wholistic Osteopath and his Naturopath wife about 20

years ago and learned about applied kinesiology but never developed the

skill although took classes on it. Here we have an iridologist in town who

uses it. I need to go back to her. These allergies are driving me crazy!

I know it has to do with liver toxicity and maybe adrenals in my case. I

have resorted to taking drugs to sleep at night (which add to the toxicity)

along with mercury poisoning. I really need to slow down and get healthy.

Hard with kids and all I have going on. I think my thyroid being in

hyperdrive makes me spin my wheels. Wired and tired. Jeanie

Hi Everybody,

I have been complaining of allergies to Thyroxin for over a year now.

I was on Thyroxin for two years with no problems, then in November last year , I

found that my muscles in legs started to ache, this moved to my wrists then to

my neck. I suddenly became extremely tired. I also noticed that my Asthma went

haywire and my right lung become very irritated, I wanted to

stick a brush down my lung to scrath it...

I went to some various and I must say dubious clinics for allergies. one used a

whetstone bridge, this is an old type of Ohm meter to find an unknown resister

range. I had to place a vial of fluid in my hand and the meter registered if I

was allergic to anything. This showed diary and wheat. I was

very unipressed..I next went to a Chinese Dr. who again put a vial of fluid in

my hand, made me out stretch the other and arm and apply pressure. if the

pressure was different then I was allergic. He found I was allergic lanolin, fuel

particulars, formaldehyde. Again I was unimpressed..

I have tried T3, Armour all no avail..

I was persuaded to try T4 and just keep to the dose and the same brand. I did

this and found that my wristspain stopped after three weeks, my legs got better

and my lung went back to normal after a month. I have no idea what has caused

this at all.

I am still tired and not going to the bathroom as I use to. all I can think of

its stress that made my body not absorb thyroxin.

I am not out of the woods as yet but a lot better than I was a few months ago..

The point of this mail is there is a lot of Drs out there willing to take you

money and especially the one with the unconventional systems.

i have used nasonex, it worked for like a week then no good. i'm having a skin test with the allergist to see exactly what i'm allergic to, so i can try to avoid them. i need to keep the fluid down in the ear to prevent these infections that they cause. GTW9356@... wrote:

I believe I do also. My doctor put me on Allegra-D in

addition to nasonex and it really helped. I have no

pressure/vacuum in my ear for several hours after the

Allegra-D kicks in. I have had some allergies for

years, but felt it was just something I had to live

with living where I do. But the allergies along with

a series of bad colds complicated things and caused my

ear to get infected last year and eardrum to

perforate. That is when my real troubles started.

Gail,

The reason our kids come up allergic to everything on blood tests is because

their immune systems are out of whack. The immune system is overactive and

reacts to everything. My son's first blood tests showed him reactive to a large

number of foods. However, he was not allergic to everything. After we cooled

off his immune system, his blood tests showed he was only allergic to dairy. He

is now fourteen and recovered. If you want me to send you the emails I send new

parents to the list, just email me privately.

Hi :

In my case, I've been suffering from food sensitivities on and off for

years.

I find that if I eat too much of something - say, rice every day for days on

end - I will probably develop a sensitivity to it. I even developed a

sensitivity to lobster once (how lucky can you get to eat too much of THAT,

lol).

Anyway, most often if I stay away from the offending food for awhile -

usually in terms of months - I can put it back on the menu. But I have to

limit consumption.

I think this is a particularly common thing for people on restricted diets.

Thing is, we can't eat a lot of " soul satisfying " foods - such as bread and

sugary stuff - so we tend to overdo it when we find something " permitted "

that we really like - even something so simple as oatmeal with stevia, say.

Hi Debbie & ,

I've had candida for about 4 years and have been on the diet now for

2 years and a half. I also suffer from food allergies and mold/yeast

allergies and found that I can't even eat rice and even too many raw

veggies (organic) were giving me reactions (maybe due to the mold?)

I obviously have to try a liver flush. My question to Debbie

is...Did you do the liver flush on the curezone? Did you use the

apple juice? Thanks for the feedback.

Hi again ,

Restoring good bowel flora to outcompete the bad, and fixing the

leaky gut problem, were the two steps that finally did it. Two

reasons - less toxins produced by bad bowel bacteria to begin with,

and less bacteria and toxins released into the bloodstream to provoke

the sensitivities.

Thanks Duncan!

How do I know if and when the leaky gut is fixed? I

took a whole month of l-glutamine and honestly didn't

notice much of a change. However, I have changed my

diet again... this time to add more raw food and less

meat into my diet. I have noticed a little

improvement. I was able to eat dairy for the first

time without getting a yeast infection. My next step

will probably be to go see a colon therapist. One that

restores bowel flora too rather than just doing a

colonic.
