So, as the story goes...here I was in my mom's hospital room...the room

dark..and us both trying to get back to sleep (me in a lovely fold down

chair)...when I heard Shantee in the hall outside the room. She had led all

the nurses from the Montgomery Wing out in the hall, and was asking them

about the odor. I could hear them:

This was hilarious, Sandi! I know I'd be incredibly embarrassed, but thanks

for sharing. I'm laughing *with* you.

I laughed out loud when you got to Security.

I have stinky farts pre-op right now, anyway (heredity). Once I even had a

bacterial infection - that was terrible.

I've had someone come into a bathroom, immediately leave, and come back with

an air freshener can. She then waited outside the stall and wouldn't leave

until I came out of the stall. It was horrifying and pissed me off, too.

If you can't fart and stink up a bathroom, where else are you expected to do

it?

It could be worse...You could be taking massive doses of iron and it not

only smells DSish (Is that a word?) but smell like it's mixed with old blood.

You just blame it on the old decrepid man who walked down just before you in

the aisle of CVS and have the lady say... " I bet it was him, it smells like an

old man " My sis who is experienced in the Ds problem almost swallowed her

tongue and I almost choked. I agreed and walked off while the lady stood there

gagging.

If Sharon had opened her mouth I swear I'd have pinched her or told them it

was her....LOL.

I may stink sometimes with too many carbs, but I can sure impress 13yo

boys...LOL....'s friend said " Geeze your mom is cool after I cut one.....

thinking I was in the house alone....It was long and sustained...LOL...It's

an art. Only you guys would appreciate it.(Oh and 13 yo boys)

We have a chemical weapons incenerator in Anniston a few miles from Gadsden.

Can you imagine the disposal problems...We get updates every so often on the

possible problems and how to escape or shelter in place in the " unlikely " event

of a leak....LOL. I bet I could go to the depot on bad days and set off a few

sensors...They'd have 1/2 the state evacuated.

BTW, they have been doing this 6 months and had 3 leaks....Not very

unlikely is it?
