Guest guest
I apologize if I sound like an alarmist but if you could see the condition of this one last SCOBY whom I left alone in the 2.5 gallon bowl, or 2.8 gallon, either way there's lots of room for this SCOBY to moosh out. It looks like bread dough. I guess I'm asking will this SCOBY ever be a productive member of a SCOBY kombucha producing society? Or is it dumpster city. I guess only I know that. And every time I walk by the bowl and peek in I wince, because I don't know where to go from this point. Say I did wrangle this SCOBY out. So I'm completely grateful I know how to " grow " a new SCOBY. I have a lot of starter, pretty acidic. Should I take out most of the rest of the batch or the whole thing, start from ground zero. Because if I started brand new maybe that way I would know what was making the one SCOBY poof out like that. So, what does anybody else think? Woodsie8 I believe that's who you call yourself and you left a brief post I think I got it. You said something like this similar happened to you? Please, someone more than Woodsie out there has to have an opinion or some sage advice. Please, I need a little guidance in this area. I would surely appreciate all that words of wisdom you all are known for. So, call in, phones are open, waiting to hear from you! Thanks.
