Guest guest
Hello. I'm an old member who's been on 'no mail' for a couple of years. I thought my daughter was getting better, but I've just found out that she just wasn't talking to me about it anymore. I can't believe we are right back where we started - very frustrating. A symptom that I've just noticed in the last several months (maybe even a year) is that she often won't make eye contact. She'll be talking to a small group of friends, sometimes even telling a long story, and she'll be looking at the wall above their heads. I know this is a symptom of autism, but I'm pretty definite she does not have autism. During her story, her face and voice will be quite animated -- she's just not making eye contact. School mates have started to tease her about this. Anyway, while doing a google search on this symptom, I came across this 'natural' supplement called Amoryn. Supposed to help with social anxiety. Contains: hyperforin 18 mg 5-htp 25 mg rhodiola rosea 70 mg As well, selenium, some B vitamins, Vit C and some others. I tried giving her 5-htp a couple of years ago. It seemed to make her worse and I stopped. We've also tried rhodiola rosea, with no results. Anyone else see this lack of eye contact symptom? Anyone have any experience with Amoryn. Any comments on the ingredient list of Amoryn. Thanks for any and all info. Maureen
