Guest guest
Tonite Marina and I warmed up with 's 1 Mile " Get up and Get Started " walk, which uses the walkaway balls. I prefer to use 3 lb dumbells instead, myself, and I actually got a pretty good shoulder burn from this short workout! If you like the cheese like Marina and I do, this one has LOTS of really dippy fake comments. Next was an AWESOME kettlebell upper body and core workout with Weber! So far this is my favorite kettlebell dvd. I can't wait to do more of this dvd. The core work was hard and I may teach it in class sometime - you can do it with a regular dumbell instead of a kettlebell. with a 15lb kettlebell I did10 windmills each side10 presses each side10 cleans each side10 double arm curls10 one armed rows10 pushups with one hand on kettlebell10 upright rows10 hot potatoes 10 kettlebell pullovers10 russian twists10 kettlebell pullovers again10 partial Turkish Getups each side10 leg raises10 regular crunches10 crunches w/hands under lower back10 double toe touches 10 leg swings10 elbow to knee crunches10 alternating toe touchesplank, one armed plank, plank with marching feet, plank with pulsesLastly, we ended with what turned out to be just the warmup (45 minutes worth of warm up!!) with Mantra Girl's Introduction to Kundalini Yoga and Chanting (Stacey, I'm making you a copy, you'll love these!) Donna you were right, these are so Lou! It takes place in Malibu and it's your typical kundalini stuff but it's outside and the music is WONDERFUL! This is especially good for anyone with back issues, as Mantra Girl focuses on the sciatic nerve and all kinds of poses/exercises for the spine. I wonder how much more there is in this workout? The warmup alone was 45 minutes, so I will do this one on a Saturday, perhaps tomorrow even, when I have time to do it from start to finish. Guest guest
so apparently hunky men inspire good workouts! ;-) Can't wait to try this one! I've been dropping hints about Terry purchasing me a Ms. 15. a > > Tonite Marina and I warmed up with 's 1 Mile " Get up and Get Started " > walk, which uses the walkaway balls. Guest guest
Oh yes! Weber (Mr. Malibu) is a hunk but I'm so busy working on my form I don't get a chance to oogle him too much to be honest! Terry does need to get you a 15. It's perfect for most exercises though for some I even use the 7's, but I'm starting to use kbells instead of dumbells whenever possible so even if it's just an upright row for example I'll do it with kbells instead. The Steve Cotter one looks good too but I haven't had a chance to do it yet.
