Guest guest
At this moment I ought to be lying in a bed of the Royal Derby hospital without a thyroid gland and a long neckwound, but God had other plans. :-) The surgeons ran out of time operating on other patients, so the worst for me was just the 10 hours waiting time without food and water and psyching myself up for the inevitable narcotic oblivion .... Finally, the surgeons came up to my room and profusely apologised to me in a very kind way and declaring the operation cancelled. We had a great chat, good-humoured with even a funny atmosphere. I think they were relieved I didn't react in a bad way - by the grace of God I didn't! :-) One of the choice moments after I knew I could break my fast was, to grope around in my travelling bag and find one of my carefully stashed away bottles of Kombucha. Ahhh, the delight and relief to bathe my parched mouth and earthly inners with KT, at this moment a sweet heavenly elixir. Today I am one happy bunny and feel very blessed, knowing, that after my 'stay of execution', my future is in God's gentle hands. I am very happy to be able to play my electric green fiddle tonight and hear a very precious Bible preacher friend from Kuala Lumpur speak to our New Life fellowship.
