AETNA - PPO coverage for ABA

Hi everyone,This message is being posted in other boards to get as

many answer as possible.This is the question:

I recently was told by Bridging the Gap that AETNA don't cover any ASD

diagnosis to receive ABA under the cognitive skill training code...

I also have regular medicaid, and they don't cover that either.

I knew my son has autism before I took him to the dev.

pediatrician... and now I'm sooo upset with this that I wonder what's

the point of having a diagnosis, if none of our insurances are able

to give us the support we need?

Please somebody help me here and please give me some guidance in this

subject... there's no way I can pay for this out of my pocket. I need

to do it through the insurance somehow...

I need to know as many tricks as possible to get this paid by AETNA.

I have AETNA,PPO... but I'm not sure if the person at Bridging the

Gap asked taking that into consideration.
