To Simon - How did this child fare? Re: constantly sick - any ideas

Hi BB,

Sorry they moved away and we sort of lost contact ...

Last I heard he was doing OK, but sorry can't throw any light on what they did.

Adding to this, the following tests lead to Immune System genetic disorder

requiring specialist treatment.

Immunosciences Viral Panel which can also be done at TDL to a certain extent but

you have to specify IGM as well as IGG needed. TDL may be cheaper and you can

test individual titres. Not conclusive but a good guide.

Conclusive at the point of testing:

Biochemistry: Rheumatoid Factor, Turbimetry

Immunoglobulins: Auto Antibody Profile

Protein Electrophoresis: Individual Globulins are tested.

These last three are done by TDL. A supportive paediatrician could do the blood

draw.

You could add in an OAT and an RBC but for Immune System disorder these can pick

up underlying pathologies rather than symptoms alone
