Guest guest
It is a device that you hook up to with electrodes. The actual unit is about the size of a cigarette pack and you can clip to your waistband. It delivers mild electrical current into your body. My physical therapist explained to me that electrical signals travel faster to the brain than pain signals, so this interupts the pain. Usually you will get set up by a physical therapist. You can place the electrodes in different places for different pains. It does not do away with the pain completely but I found that I could often do without pain meds when I used it. Good luck Lynn Re: Exercise that helps? > > > > > > > I'm going to look into water exercise - the reason I haven't is because > >I > > > didn't want to take the time to go to a facility.
