I thought both would be ready for bottling today, so I made a gallon of sweetened tea to start another two batches. But only one was ready, so I have half a gallon of tea leftover. I'm sure the second batch will be ready for bottling tomorrow. Can I refrigerate the half gallon of tea, then bring it to room temperature tomorrow and transfer my scoby to it for making a new batch of kt?
